Woop woop, bender bender bender, woop woop.....

As I made my way to Victoria Coach station to meet up with Joe and John I managed to get a sleeping bag, which also meant, I now had a bag with 3 quilts, plus a sleeping bag!
We had the Coolest seats in the back, also the ones closest to the bathroom, but who could comlpain when we had a elder lady bus driver who for 40 mins or so explained how to use the flush button in the toilet?! Well, She had tried it herself, and if u only pressed it once, it wouldn't flush, you had to press it many times.......
John was the first in our happy trio to try it out after 2 beers, and strangely enough after pressing the button once it did flush?! Although, since he wasted all the water, by waiting on hot water to come through, none of the other toilet visitors had any water to wash "the soap" off......
Arrived in (Wales!!!!)Cardiff where we met up with Richard, had some pizza's and met some of Richard's Uni friends! Nice nice! After trying to find a place at 1pm or so when everything around that area had closed up we all decided that since we were going to a festival to sleep outdoors without a tent, there wouldn't be so much sleep, we should probably try to sleep.
After strutting about at Richards for a while (Joe doing his daily push-ups) Gurdep showed up and after some more wandering and talking we all left the flat only 1 hour too late to meet up with Alicia and Cat at the trainstation.
Walking through a really beautiful Cardiff (well the weather was beautiful) we walked by some buskers and one of them really reminded me of a woman in Gothenburg that stands on a bridge and only play's 2 tones on her flute?! haha, well this woman had a guitar with 2 strings, which she strummed on open frets! xfactor style!
Herrees?! Sherehe?! Heeerefourdshoure?!........(the guy taking my ticket order leaned over to his college who said, Well these guys are going to Hereford)
ah, yeah Heeeresheshere, that's where I'm going as well! Hahahaaa.... So on our way to this distant place not in Wales, we're back in England yeay!
Arriving we find out that the bus only runs every 2 hours, and we just missed one, have about 1 1/2 hour! Guitar, drinks, food and Ice cream is always nice to make time go a bit faster.....Busride was really interesting, and we realized why it only went 2 times a day! haha, 1 lane roads and bus had to reverse several times, since it's soooo much easier for a bus to reverse than a car?! Well, after dropping off the only person not in our group, and aussie woman, and letting Joe relieve his bladder (quite a long piss indeed) in a bush at a bed and breakfast, we arrived in Eadersley or something like that, and paid our farewells to the Italian bus driver!
Springstan or Wingspan (which was the infamous name Alicia re-baptized it to) was merely a field, prob around 300-400 ppl by the time we got there, when the families had almost gone....we had two 8-10 year old girls in front of us in the queue, we got our yellow wristbands and we're happy to be 7 of the 500 ppl that were lucky enough to get tickets...especially since there were people standing outside casting longing glances on the field (or maybe the lightly dressed girls sunbathing?!)
We had missed almost all of the acoustic folk acts except one, who happened to be a guy that went to the same school that Richard went to..... Then after some sunbathing (yes I flashed my shining white swedish legs) and some more snacking and drinking the tents were soon filled with Drum&base and of course dancers.
After some dances and meeting random ppl I actually managed to fall asleep in my sleeping bag, only to wake up 2 hours later, stand by the fire for a minute or two. Then deciding sleeping bag was probably warmer, so me and richard lay down between Cat and Joe who also had crashed by this point. After about 20 minutes or so the Security guys woke us up and asked us to move since there was an ambulance coming to pick up a guy with a dislocated knee.
So John and Richard grabbed Cat and Joe, carried them up the field, still in their sleeping bags, and we could all go back to sleep.
Waking up several times during the night due to very cold feet, I realized after waking up around 6 or 7 that our sleeping bags were covered with frost! yeah! hahaha....A taxi was waiting and it was time for us to head off to heeresherfordshire?! The golden arches served breakfast, so 2 hours or more were spent under the air-fan in the Ladies room and then back to Cardiff.
With everybody looking as fresh as ever we said our goodbyes and it was time for the happy trio to leave for London again.........
Next event planned - Joe's leaving party!

Home!?
Home!?
what a strange word
How do you really define it?
is it a place?!
It's not in the same place
It moves around
It changes once in a while
Where u grew up?
It will always be home
But not necessarily
Where ur heart beats?
Different places at many times
Heart can be restless
Even when u think u're home
Packing to go home
Only to pack to go home again

Sunshine, Bread and Meat-sauce!

Woke up today and felt like going out for a run, and so I did! Couldn't believe I made the whole track I decided on....Yes I had to lay on the floor for about 2 minutes to get rid of the dizziness and pulsating blood! but still..... I feel good!
Karlshamn has undergone some modernization since I've been away, H&M has been added to the strip of shops! nice! It was quite nice to see but I liked same old Lindex that we don't get in London, but can't really decide if I could really spend 400kr on each of the garments I found!?! Ofcourse the 2 pieces I fell for were like the 2 most expensive ones!!!? Why!?
Anyways this is what I had in my bag while walking through the front door at home:
- 2 Earrings from glitter
- 4 bags of loose leaf tea, 1 rooibos, 1 green and 2 black teas
- 1 or actually 3 cans for tea, like 3 apartments for teas in one!? clever clever!
- 1 Loose leaf tea-strainer for Teapots!
- 1 Loaf of Lingongrova (dark bread) to bring home to Chiswick!
- 1 Bag of naturgodis! like nuts/almonds/dried fruits etc plain or covered in yoghurt or chocolate
At home me and my mum sat out on the terrace with the glass-doors opened wide, sunbathing! It got really warm out there, and I continued reading a book I started on last summer! It's really good, but I'll prob leave it behind for next time! It's a huge book!
Meatsauce (bolognese) with spaghetti for supper!
Not like the Meatsauce I had with Sofie, John, Joe and Richard! hahaha! but still.......

Sunday my favorite day of the week!
A quite eventful day today! Started of with church! Was about Failure not necessary being a bad thing, but actually a good thing, cos it's in the failure we realize we need help etc. And how God conquered death by being a "failure" since he didn't live up to the ideals that ppl at that time had and what they thought the Messiah to be, a humble servant, dying as a criminal instead of being the King/deliverer of Israel. But yet by doing so he became just that, a king and deliverer, not only to Israel but to all mankind! Pretty awesome stuff!!!

After that we had some friends over for coffee, was really nice! (especially the coffee, brewed, not instant!!!)
My Grandparents who didn't know I was home was the next surprise-target! So the whole family squeezed into the car again and went to the countryside of Skåne. My grandparents were very happy to see us all and yeah they were very surprised! :) Had some (more) coffee and then walked to my grandmothers twin brother who has an art gallery, right now exhibiting his sons, Fredrik Lindqvist, pieces of art! He's amazing!

Another evening at Home!

Elvis Gospel Tour concert tonight at the Carlshamn Theatre with a collaboration between 2 local choirs and the 2 men touring around sweden doing another twist of Elvis reminiscing!
1 not so good and 3 spectacular things:
- There was a strange psychedelic part in the middle of "in the Ghetto" where it sounded like a hallucinogenic trip to somewhere very far from Elvis! Not a strong choice in my opinion! (maybe they tried to do Elvis on drugs!?!? or well I don't know.....)
- The Choir!!!
- Unchained Melody!!!
- My magnificent and very highly skilled parking!!! (best part of the night for me, no doubt)
On the big screen the Devil Wears Prada, "You must have done something right!"
Sweet Dreams
(are made of these)

IKEA!

Second day in Sweden and the family got in the car to go on a family trip to the famous Älmhult, the hometown of IKEA!
What can be more Swedish.....?!
So we walked around to admire/complain and suggest ideas for how the exhibition rooms could be better etc! My brother f ex. made a suggestion that the accenting color of one of the walls, should really had been lighter, and that the wooden floor should've been like the one in the other room, whilst my other brother made himself comfortable in one of the beds, with one of those very practical *laptop trays* and decided this was the way forward! My mother decided on a practical table thingy for the kitchen and I think the best bit for my father was when after trying to fit that box into the car, he suggested we take out all the parts from the box and then put them in the car, and it actually worked!!! You know our car is at the service so we had a smaller car than usual!
My best part was the Ice-cream cone at the exit! only 5 kr! like 5p for an icecream! hahahahhaa, IKEA is great!!!

Braxenvägen 22, 8th of April

Surprise surprise!
You should have seen the look on my brothers faces when they saw it was my at the trainstation, or my dads when he came home from work, finding me, mum and my brothers having tea! haahhaaaa One of the funniest things in a long time!!!
I love surprises, and even more, I LOVE MY FAMILY! I'm so glad right now that I decided to go home, but it's been sooo hard not telling everybodym and I can only imagine how hard it's been for my mum to keep the secret! But she did a good job, and after a great reunion we had a nice chillaxed evening (I fell asleep by the tv, something I usually never do, blame it on the fever)
Flying is one of my greater hobbies, and today to accompany me I had Jenny Berggrens (Ace of Base) biografy! Brought tears to my eyes, not so few times! If u think it's a sad story your wrong, I just can't say how much I recognize in what she writes, and I'm very sure God planned for me to see her in that interview an early morning last autumn!
So as my room is occupied not only with my stuff, but a drumkit, I hope I won't wake up and fall over, knock the cymbals over etc or do fills in the middle of my dreams! But mum had made my bed, and now the scent of home is what fills my nostrils! Even had like all homemade food today, except the ridiculously big amount of Easter chocolates I had managed to put in my bag which the whole family indulged in in front of a 90's movie, that was actually pretty cool! Imagine!!!
Well even tho the time difference means it's only 23:40 now in London, I should probably turn off my laptop and tune in to the +1 hour zone!
Blessings

Chiswick, 23;36 7th of April 2010
Woke up at 11, to realize I was havin lunch at 12:30 with a friend, an American, in Covent Garden, snoozed my way so I was 5 mins late! I never used to be late before London..... It was a rainy day tho, and yes I'm gonna blame the weather for any belatedness.....
When I came home, stuffed after 2 starters and a House Pasta at Zizzi's, I fell asleep half naked in my bed, wearing a red cardigan, felt all feverish...... Then my Housemate Bella woke me up and I tried to get on with the day, like making some food, but as I prepared to leave for Worship team practice I couldn't focus on doin anything, had a terrible headache and decided I should probably stay in... and so I did.....
Called my mum, complained and moaned a little, until I realized she's actually feeling much worse than me, and decided I should probably just get some rest.....Then I realized I hadn't put in all my newly bought records unto my laptop, so had to do that......Which got me all caught up! So I've been listening all night, nice poop!
Right now I'm off to bed not wearing that cardigan, and I'm well exited about tomorrow! Will probably bring loads of hugs and surprises I reckon!
Can't say anything more to ruin a good surprise really! But all I can say is! 22 here I come!!!
Goodnights
ps. a goodnight song!
Ben Harper
Welcome!

So today I was randomly looking about on the world wide web, and happened to stumble over a friends witty and extraordinary cleverly written blog, and thought, why not create a brand new blog....
Since my old one doesn't really appeal to me at all anymore I couldn't be bothered to just simply refresh that, but thought I should start writing a brand new one!
So if u've got a wanderlust on the web and happened to stumble upon this page, I hope u'll enjoy if not.....I guess I can't really help U! haha
farewell!
